World Music Day (France: Fête de la Musique) is celebrated every year on 21st June and International Yoga Day is also celebrated on this day. World Music Day was started in France, which is why it is also called Fête de la Musique.
World Music Day (Fête de la Musique) was started in 1981 and today about 130 countries have participated in it and more than 1000 cities around the world celebrate World Music Day. History of World Music Day (Fête de la Musique)
World Music Day, which is celebrated all over the world today, was first started in the French capital Palace. This is from October 1981 when the director of music was Maurice Fleuret. He is very much influenced by the music industry, whose reflection he wanted to tell to the whole world. In 1982, about 5 million people came out on the streets of France with musical instruments and started playing on the streets.
This scene greatly influenced the youth. Of the approximately 5 million people, 50% were youth who participated in World Music Day. It started in the province but gradually spread internationally and today it is celebrated as World Music Day. Today it includes about 130 countries which include countries like China India Germany Italy Greece Russia Australia Peru Brazil Mexico Canada United States Japan and UK.
Why is World Music Day celebrated? (Fête de la Musique)
Music has a huge role in human life. According to psychology, music is related to human emotions. That’s why there are some music which take out the tears from the eyes and there are also some music which make a person agile very quickly. All this is possible because of music.
Even in Dwapara Yuga, Lord Krishna had captivated all his friends and villagers with the tune of his flute. People used to get fascinated by listening to the tune of his flute and used to get free from all tension. Music has a very important role in human life, it removes many types of stress. Music is also useful in many diseases, hence it is also known as music therapy.
How did the French city of Paris reach the Music International level?
World Music Day was first started in the French city of Paris. In 1982, it was first taken out on the streets of France, in which about 5 million people participated, including 50% of young people. After that it gradually spread to 700 cities in 120 countries. On this day people are made aware by telling them the benefits of music. And today it has spread so much that it is spread in 130 cities of the world and in about 1000 cities.

According to a research, it was told that some hormones are released in our body by listening to music. These hormones play a very important role in increasing the body’s immune system and reducing many diseases of the head.
