1. Guru Nanak (1469-1539)

Guru Nanak was the first Guru of Dev Ji’s Guru. He laid the foundation of Sukhdev. Guru Nanak Dev also operated the anchor of the Guru. According to Sikhism, langar is a medium through which food is served to all individuals without discrimination. The equality of women is also the greatness of Sikhism. 2. Guru Angad (1539-1552)

The second Sikhism guru was named Guru Angad Dev. The Punjabi language is written in Gurmukhi script. Gurmukhi script was started by Guru Angad Dev. Guru ka langar, which was started by Guru Nanak, developed. Also developed Gurmukhi script. He started writing the things told by Guru Nanak in the Gurmukhi script in books. 3. Guru Amar Das(1552-1574)

The third Guru of the Sikh Guru was named Guru Amardas Sahib. Guru Amardas Sahib was a contemporary of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. In Guru Amar Das Sahib, marriage was done according to Sikhism, which was different from the Hindu religion. The marriage custom of Sikhism is called Anand Karaj. 4. Guru Ram Das(1574-1581)

5. Guru Arjan Dev(1581-1606)

Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Guru of Sikh. Adi Granth was not established by Guru Arjan Dev. He had played a big role in writing the Adi Granth. The entire work of the temple of Amritsar was done by Arjan Dev. He was the first Guru who was hanged by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Arjan Dev Ji is also known as Shaheedan-de-Sartaj

6. Guru Har Gobind(1606-1644)

Guru Hargobind Sahib was the son of Guru Arjan Dev. It was already the Guru who took the sword to fight. This guru had taught people to lift the sword to fight for the truth. Inside Guru Hargobind Sahib, he was always against the Mughal emperors Jahangir and Shah Jahan to avenge the death of his father Guru Arjan Dev.

7. Guru Har Rai Saheb (1644-1661)

Guru Har Rai Sahib was completely different from Guru Hargobind Sahib. He neither thought of fighting in his life nor sent the spirit of war to the people. Guru Har Rai Sahib was of a calm nature. Guru Har Rai Sahib also gave shelter to the elder son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.

8. Guru Har Krishan(1661-1664)

Guru Harkrishan Sahib was the 8th Guru who had become a Guru at the lowest age. The guru that were formed was 5 years old. Aurangzeb’s contemporary was guru. Guru was against Aurangzeb because Aurangzeb had imposed debt on anti-Muslim people. Guru Harkrishan Sahib was against Aurangzeb.

9. Guru Tegh Bahadur(1665-1675)

Guru Tegh Bahadur was the ninth Guru of the Sikh Guru. This group is against the Mughal Empire because they were forcibly converting Kashmiri Pandits.

10. Guru Gobind Singh(1675-1708)

Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, the tenth and last person of Sikhism. He was the son of Guru Tegh Bahadur. The construction of Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Sahib in 1699. He advised the Sikh Guru to become a Chhatriya for self-protection.
