Tripathi was totally immersed in acting Since, his childhood. He played various roles at 12 as a “girl Artist” at “chhath Festivals’ ‘ in his village. Therefore, After a long struggle, he got the right opportunities. His father wanted to make him a doctor but While he was studying in college, he participated in politics in College. He completed his Hotel Management and worked as a ‘cook’ for two years at Hotel Maurya. His wife Mridula is a teacher in Goregaon, Mumbai. She is also a very intelligent lady.
Career
Since his childhood, Pankaj got some waves towards his soul of art. In 1995, he performed a small role of a local thief in the play of Bhisham sahni’sStory of Leela Nandlal, which was directed by Vijay Kumar (an NSD pass out). He became famous for the next 4 years working in theatre.
After graduation from the National School of Drama in 2004, he worked in theatre. Tripathi went to Mumbai and have done a role of side in film “RUN” and then in TV drama “GULAL”
During the Gulal shooting, he got a call from,” Gangs of Wasseypur”. Selected, Elevated the role and appreciated by his audience to make more vulnerable roles. Now after Mirzapur, He got the right direction of fame and respect.
