Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad Gujarat: The world’s largest cricket stadium has been inaugurated by President Ramnath Kovind in Ahmedabad. Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the name of this stadium will be ‘Narendra Modi Stadium‘ after the PM of India Shri Narendra Modi. Home Minister Amit Shah announced that we have made such facility here that in 6 months, Olympic, Asiad, and Commonwealth can organize sports. Ahmedabad will now be known as Sports City. There is a 1,10,000 sitting capacity.

About the name of PM upon Stadium
The stadium is named after the Prime Minister, it is not the first time. After observing history we find that there is 9 stadium after the PM Jawahar Lal Nehru.
