World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year for a week in the month of August. In 2021, World Breastfeeding Week is to be celebrated from Sunday 1 August to Saturday 7 August. It is celebrated in about 120 countries of the world. World Breastfeeding Week is being celebrated by UNICEF and WHO since 1992 till date.

World Humanitarian Day(19 August 2021)

World Humanitarian Day is celebrated every year on 19 August. It was started by the United Nations General Assembly, which includes almost many countries like France Switzerland Japan Brazil etc. The purpose of this day is to promote Mediterranean. This year it will celebrate on 19 August 2021.

International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism(21 August 2021)

International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Times of Terrorism is observed every year on 21st August. On this day tribute is paid to all those who are martyred by terrorists.
