FIR filed Against Twitter on sharing Child Pornographic Content
Fourth case has been registered against Twitter in India. A case has been registered against Twitter and it has been said that people on Twitter are sharing obscene material related to child pornography, on this Twitter is not taking any action. This case has been done by Delhi Police at the behest of Panes.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had asked Delhi Police to register this complaint. It is being told that Twitter has made a big mistake by not following the laws of the government. Twitter’s troubles are increasing as well as pornographic photos are being shared on Twitter’s platform. In this matter NCPCR asked Delhi Police to register an FIR. This is the fourth case registered on Twitter.
This case has been registered by the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police at the behest of NCPCR. In this case it has been said that things like child pornography are being shared on micro-blogging site Twitter and why is Twitter still not taking any action on it. This case has been registered on Twitter under POSCO and IT Act.
Twitter asked to share details of accounts sharing child sex abuse content, said hindustantimes. As NCPCR has informed Police to filed FIR against Twitter micro blogging. So far 4 cases have been registered on Twitter, even before this a case was registered in which the MD of Twitter was called to Loni police station. A notice was sent to Manish Maheshwari, MD of Twitter in India and he was called to Loni police station within a week. But this matter was not very serious, in that case he was soon relieved.
But what is going on today, in which pornographic photos of children are being shared on Twitter, NCPCR has taken its step and asked Delhi Police to register a case on it. At the behest of NCPCR, Delhi Police had registered this case on Twitter regarding child pornography on Twitter, pornographic material related to children.
