Saheed Bhagat Singh Biography | Freedom Fighter
I hope there is no need to introduce Bhagat Singh because as he did for India everybody knows him. Bhagat Singh became the most famous freedom fighter due to his hanging activity and his other activities. Bhagat was born on 28 September 1907 and died on 23 March 1931. Bhagat fought many times with Chandra Shekhar Aajad and his volunteers. Bhagat Singh took the avenge of Lala Lajpat Rai’s death.
Childhood of Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh’s father’s name was Sardar Kishan Singh and his mother was Vidhyawati Kaur. The whole family was into agriculture.19 April 1919 land became a most memorable to Bhagat because on that day most of the people died without any reason because general announced for shooting the people this kand was known as Jaliyawala bagh kand, from this to till end Bhagat Singh was living for India and for getting the freedom. Bhagat left his study in the early-stage and established a Sabha which was known as “Naujawan Bharat Sabha”.
Avenge of Lala Lajpat Rai:- Lala Lajpat Rayi died in the Saiman commission because when the Saimon commission came to India there were going on opposite movement and Lala Lajpat Rai was the leader for them when all were shouting the slogan of ” Simon commission go back” then British government couldn’t control the Indian so British police did lathi charge there and Lala Lajpat Ray died there but Bhagat Ji was looking every activity of them. Bhagat Singh couldn’t save the life of Lala Lajpat Ray but he took the avenge of Lala Lajpat Ray’s death by killing ASP Sandorsh first Rajguru shooted to Sandorse then Bhagat shooted to ASP Sondorse three times and Sondorse died there on the spot.
Throwing the bomb in Assembly:- this was the time 2 rules were about to pass in British assembly but Bhagat Singh and Chandra Shekhar Aajad do not want to pass them in assemble because both rules were opposite of Indian first one was nobody will have right to strike and second was if any Indian strike towards British they will put into jail. That’s what Bhagat made a strategy for throwing the bomb in Assembly but bombs were not for killing someone these were only producing the sound.
Bhagat Singh As Prisoner
Bhagat spent approximately 2 years in prison there also wearing to the people for getting freedom, he used to write and read many books in Hindi as well as in English also. His one of the famous ” Why am I Athiest “. The theory of his book tells that he was against the Indian richest people also who do not care about Indian farmers and who do not think about the freedom of India.
Bhagat Singh Hanged
On 26 August 1930, Bhagat Singh considered a criminal. In this case, the last decision of the judge was that Bhagat, Rajguru, Sukhdev all will be hanged till death. The date of hanging was 24 March 1931 but the British government hanged them on 23 March 1931, the reason for hanging before one day was that everyone knew in India that Bhagat Ji and his friends will be hanged on 24 March so Indian could do strike and movements and British government does not have security to control them so they were hanged before one day of death time.
Last wish of Bhagat Singh before hanging
When the jailer asked Bhagat Singh and his friends, what’s your last wish then bhagat spoke open our hands so that we can hug each other. British government officer denied it but there was one more Indian jailer who spoke to open the hands. After opening the hands’ Bhagat, Rajguru and Sukhdev hugged to each other and shouted slogans ” Inklap Jindabad ” and we’re hanged at 7:33 in the evening.
